What costs credits

What uses credits

Only real answers cost credits. When a run starts, the most it can use is set aside; when it ends, you pay only for what was really checked.

1 credit

One test, run as one kind of user

0.25 credits

One page opened as one kind of user, for the access grid (no AI)

1 credit

Each page an exploration visits, as one kind of user, with suggested tests written for you

Free

Signing in, and anything that couldn’t be checked because of a problem on our side

For example, 10 tests for 2 kinds of user plus 12 page checks use 23 credits per run.

Questions

Questions

What counts as a credit?

One test, run as one kind of user: 1 credit. One page opened as one kind of user for the access grid: 0.25. Exploring your app: 1 credit per page it explores, as each kind of user. Only real answers count: a test that passed or broke. Signing in, the first look at a new address, and anything EveryRole couldn’t check because of a problem on our side are free.

What happens when I run out?

Nothing is charged automatically. A run that needs more credits than you have left doesn’t start: you see why and when your credits renew (a daily run that couldn’t start leaves a notification). You can buy extra credits, which never expire, or change plan at any time.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. In Settings → Plan & billing, “Invoices, payment method, cancel” opens the payment portal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for, then your workspace moves to Free. Nothing is deleted: your apps, tests and runs stay, and history older than Free’s 7 days is hidden, not deleted.

Do you see my code?

No. EveryRole never asks for your code or your repository: it opens your live app in a browser, from its address, like your users do. Signing in with GitHub shares only your name and email. It keeps what it saw (screenshots and replays of your pages) and your test accounts’ passwords, stored encrypted and never sent to an AI model.

Do unused credits carry over?

Your plan’s credits start fresh every month (on yearly plans too); unused ones don’t carry over. Credits you buy on top never expire, and are used after your plan’s credits.

How do I know what a run will cost?

When a run starts, EveryRole sets aside the most it can use: every test you added, for every kind of user, plus every page check. When it ends, you pay only for what was really checked, and the rest goes back. Your credit history lists every run.

Do suggested tests run by themselves?

No. An exploration suggests tests and tries each one twice; that is part of the exploration’s price. Nothing runs as a test, or counts in your runs, until you add it: one by one, or several at once.
