Acceptable Use

Use EveryRole for

• Testing web apps you own, or that you have the owner’s permission to test this way.
• Checking which kinds of user can open which pages of those apps.
• Running those checks after deploys and on a schedule.

Never use it to

• Test, scan or crawl a site you have no right to test, or get around its sign-in, paywall or limits.
• Sign in with someone else’s real account, or with credentials you weren’t given for testing.
• Collect other people’s personal data, or scrape content you have no right to.
• Overload a site, attack it, or look for security holes without the owner’s written permission.
• Send spam, place orders, make payments or create content in someone else’s name.
• Break the law, or anyone’s rights.
• Get around EveryRole’s own limits, share an account to avoid paying, or resell the Service.

How EveryRole stays gentle

EveryRole browses like a person: one page at a time, within the page and depth limits of your plan and settings, and it never saves forms while exploring. You stay responsible for pointing it at the right apps and for the “never click” words that keep it away from actions with real effects.

If these rules are broken

We may stop a job, pause an app or suspend an account that breaks these rules, and we tell you why. If you think EveryRole is being used against your site, tell us. Write to us at the postal address above.
